Weekly update from PointPay (14–18 March, 2022)

Another week has passed, and we would like to announce the weekly update to our community.

Mobile App Development 🤖🍏

For iOS mobile application

Added

• the PointPay Blog;
• The ability to view stories.

For both iOS & Android mobile applications

• Improved login with Face ID and Touch ID;
• Worked on the redesign of Payment System, Dashboard page, and User Profiles.

Frontend Development 🚀

• Added redirection of the user after logging out to the Crypto Bank account statistics page;
• Integrated front-end unit tests into the pipelines.

Optimized

• CI pipelines configuring Docker layer caching. Thus, build time was reduced from 8 minutes to 2 minutes;
• Front-end modules in the UI Kit to reduce the speed of the first download of each product.

Exchange Development 💱

• Optimized Classic Exchange architecture;
• Released the new Quick Exchange architecture on the web.

Development of the new Gateway on Golang

• Final testing before deployment.

Login & Security Development

• Added the ability to delete an account.

Crypto Bank 🏦

• Added restrictions on accrual of interest on savings accounts for US citizens.

Payment System Development

• Implemented automatic addition of all currencies for Xanpool, Mercurio, ChangeNOW, Itez payment systems;
• Added additional logging for all payment systems;
• Improved waiting for a response from payment systems.

Launchboard Development

• Completed the front end and started working on the back end of the voting module. The voting module allows users to vote for new projects to be placed on Launchboard while staking PXP tokens;
• Started separation of the Launchboard into an individual internal service.

Others

• Published an interview with Vladimir Kardapoltsev on the Crypto Fanat channel on Youtube;
• Published an interview with Vladimir Kardapoltsev on CryptoNewsZ.
